Ragulan Tharmakulasingam

Ragulan is a highly qualified marketer and social entrepreneur, serving as the Founder and Director of several impactful organizations, including Palladian Global, Epitom Digital, Pick a Book, Life After Retirement (LAR), and Simbutu. His expertise in marketing, management, and leadership has been instrumental in building a thriving entrepreneurship culture and a knowledge-based society.

With Pick a Book, Ragulan is spearheading a global movement to transform lives through reading, while LAR provides a platform to uplift the lives of senior citizens. Through Simbutu, he has created a community for pet lovers, and Palladian Global, a brand dedicated to creating communities for various brands. His most recent venture, Nuwa, is an investment and impact investment firm that aims to assist social entrepreneurs in achieving worldwide impact with their initiatives.

Ragulan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colombo . Ragulan is a highly accomplished marketer and has been recognized with prestigious awards for his contributions to the field. Specifically, he is the recipient of the Sri Lankan prize for Marketing in Practice in 2007 and Strategic Marketing in Practice in 2009, both offered by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Ragulan's passion for community development and social entrepreneurship is further evidenced by his Humanitarian MBA degree from Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship Switzerland.Ragulan is also a fellow of the Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship. As a member of the 2022 cohort of humanities students, he was honored with a gold medal in recognition of his exceptional performance.
