Pramudith D Rupasinghe has been a senior humanitarian diplomat, collaborating with respected global organisations such as The United Nations, The Red Cross, and Action Against Hunger. His assignments have taken him to Africa, Europe, South East Asia, and the Middle East for the past two decades. The Laureate of the Gloden Aster Prize for Global Literature, 2020, he is a highly acclaimed novelist known for his work on literature for advocacy. His works have been published in numerous languages and launched in over seventy territories. Pramudith, the founder of The Asian Group of Literature, is also the curator of The Asian Prizes. Rupasinghe’s work showcases literature that transcends borders and advocates for humanitarian causes and diplomacy.
